Regular Meeting of the Faculty Council – Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Minia University

The Faculty Council of Dar Al-Uloom, Minia University, held its regular session on Monday, 17 November 2025, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mostafa Bayoumi Abdel-Salam, Dean of the Faculty, and with Dr. Tarek Mokhtar Saad, Executive Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, serving as Secretary. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ghada Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, department heads, and faculty council members.

The Dean opened the session by welcoming the attendees, affirming the regularity of the academic process and lectures according to the announced schedules. He emphasized the importance of all faculty members fulfilling their responsibilities regarding quality and accreditation, urging prompt cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit to achieve institutional and programmatic quality standards.

During the meeting, the Council discussed several agenda items, including:

  1. Reviewing the Quality Assurance Unit’s activity report for November 2025, highlighting procedures and preparations related to accreditation standards.

  2. Approving the transfer and registration of several students in the part-time undergraduate program.

  3. Approving the registration of postgraduate students in the preparatory year of the Master’s program.

  4. Approving the award of Master’s and PhD degrees to researchers who fulfilled graduation requirements.

  5. Forming committees for Master’s and PhD discussions and extending registration periods for some students according to regulatory guidelines.

  6. Suspending registration for certain students pending clarification of their military service status in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the Faculty’s continued support for all academic and administrative efforts aimed at developing the academic performance system and enhancing the educational environment within the Faculty.
