Dar Al-Uloom Faculty Participates in the Presidential Initiative “Tamkeen” to Support Students with Disabilities

Under the patronage of Prof. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farahat, President of Minia University,
and the supervision of Prof. Mostafa Bayoumi Abdel-Salam, Dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom,

The Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom – Minia University participated in the activities of the Presidential Initiative “Tamkeen” (Empowerment), aimed at supporting students with disabilities. The faculty’s delegation was headed by Prof. Mostafa Bayoumi Abdel-Salam, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of Dr. Islam Mahmoud, Coordinator of Student Activities, along with a number of Student Union members and “For Egypt” student team members, who contributed to organizing the events and taking part in the accompanying artistic and cultural performances.

This participation came as part of the activities launched by Minia University, under the patronage of Prof. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farahat, President of the University, and in the presence of faculty deans, academic staff, and students from various faculties, alongside Prof. Hossam Mohamed Abdel-Raheem, General Coordinator of Student Activities and Director of the Disability Support Center.

The university president led a large student march across the campus, in a scene that reflected the spirit of solidarity and university citizenship, marking the official launch of the initiative. The “Tamkeen” initiative aims to promote inclusion, equality, and empowerment for students with disabilities within the university.

In his statement, Prof. Mostafa Bayoumi Abdel-Salam emphasized that the faculty’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting students with disabilities, in alignment with the directives of the political leadership to empower and integrate this group into university life. He also praised the university’s administration and its president for their continuous efforts to provide an inclusive educational environment that addresses the needs of all students.
