As part of the faculty’s continuous efforts to promote a culture of quality among its members, the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom organized a workshop on the “Strategic Planning Standard” on Sunday, October 26, 2025, delivered by Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz, Director of the Strategic Planning Center at Minia University.
The workshop began with an opening speech by Prof. Mostafa Bayoumi, Dean of the Faculty, who emphasized the importance of strategic planning in all aspects of institutional and societal development. He noted that the faculty administration attaches great importance to this field due to its crucial role in achieving the faculty’s objectives and advancing the educational process.
He also extended his sincere appreciation to Prof. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farahat, President of the University, for his continuous support and for his efforts to strengthen the culture of quality and assist the faculty in its pursuit of academic accreditation.
Dr. Tarek Mokhtar, Executive Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, highlighted the unit’s role in spreading the culture of quality among all members of the faculty. He affirmed the unit’s commitment to organizing a series of workshops introducing institutional and program accreditation standards, in line with the faculty’s goal of achieving the highest levels of academic and administrative excellence.
During the session, Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz presented the concept of strategic planning, illustrating methods for analyzing the internal and external environment of the faculty, as well as the mechanisms for developing a strategic plan. He praised Prof. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farahat for his ongoing support of the university’s faculties, which contributes to the goal of achieving institutional accreditation in accordance with the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
He also stressed the collective responsibility of all faculty members, administrators, and students in achieving accreditation goals, emphasizing that success in this regard depends on collaboration and shared commitment.
The workshop witnessed active participation from faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students, who engaged in fruitful discussions and valuable exchanges that enriched the session and maximized its impact.
